The current version of this website is a result of a redesign project undertaken by a team of students from the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin as part of an Information Architecture course. The redesign process is documented at http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/~fastrac.
Design Team
Alex Chung
Alex is currently a doctoral student in the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. His reserach interests include human computer Interaction, information management. During the course of his studies, he developed his interest in the development of database-driven websites and database management.
Rachael Gilg
Rachael is currently working towards a Masters of Information Studies at UT's School of Information. Her research interests include the development of database-driven Web sites, digital archives, instructional technology, and multimedia applications.
Mariela Gunn
Mariela is a graduate student working towards a Masters degree in Information Studies. Her research interests relate to academic librarianship and the support of scholarship in the humanities through electronic reference tools, such as functionality-rich databases and visualization GIS software. In the course of her studies, she has developed a liking for Web development and has pursued projects related to it.
Tammy Latham
Tammy is currently a doctoral student in the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. For the past 6 years, she has been a user advocate on numerous software development teams and has experience gathering customer requirements, writing functional specs, creating HTML proof-of-concept prototypes, and running usability tests. All of her work has been for web-based software projects and for a variety of industries.
